Selecting right audiences will help them to find your event. (Select right audiences based on who you want your event to be seen. You can select multiple in the event editor form.)

Prepopulated listing of campus locations. Note that not all things are listed. Use the 'specify location' option not include more detail on location.
Using items from listing ensure proper spelling and searchability in the Events Calendar site.
Optionally selecting items from this filter will push the event to that corresponding webpage. It will show it on the "Calendar of Events" panels. Example shown below:
